Low-Fi analogue style shows with GrandVJ

Postby absentcinema » Wed May 04, 2011 7:54 pm

I've been using Arkaos/GrandVJ for several years now and tend to attempt to re-create a retro style analogue lightshow rather than a tech-heavy style. This video has recently been posted which features a little clip of my work from the night in question. Was done with an i5 Core laptop running Win7 with a Korg NanoKontrol/Keys set-up. Been trying to get a NanoKontrol/Launchpad set up running but the Launchpad seems to introduce large amounts of latency.

We just received some interesting informations from a user concerning the Novation Launchpad.
Novation has released a firmware update for their device, that apparently fixes the latency problem some GrandVJ users have experienced using this device with feedback activated.
