OHM64 Midi feedback (windows 7)

Postby FrankySpanky » Mon Jan 17, 2011 8:38 pm

Hi

I'm trying the GrandVJ 1.2.2. version with an OHM64 on windows 7.
It functions, al knobs and faders work. But I dont get midifeedback,
so no LED lights up when a clip is triggered. Not very handy with a 8x8 grid :D
Under preferences I've selected the following under 'midi'

MIDI Inputs:
[v] Ohm64
[ ] MIDIIN2 (Ohm64)

MIDI Feedback:
Feedbackunit: Feedbacktype: Midi output:
1 Generic Midi Ohm64

also tried

MIDI Feedback:
Feedbackunit: Feedbacktype: Midi output:
1 Generic Midi MIDIOUT2 (Ohm64)

Does anybody know how to set up Midi Feedback in GrandVJ for the OHM64? Or does it only work on a mac?

Are you using the built in template for the OHM64 in 1.2.2? Control N > Livid Ohm64 Mixer Mode?

The OHM64 doesnt function like the AKAI APC40 with multi-colored LEDs, so you will only see the button LED when that clip is selected on a channel.

It was a problem of the OHM64 controller.Guess something went wrong while editting the button names with the ohm64 edittor. I've reset the controller to factory settings unplugged / replugged and the midi feedback works perfect again :)
